Fields 1957 | Skull elongate, low; parietal region broad, flat, frontals extremely flattened; nassals long, straight, extending anterior to incisors; rostral masseteric fossa shallow, ovoid anteroposteriorly; infraorbital foramen fairly large with basilar furrow for transmission of nerves; lacrymal large; no accessory opening on rostrum for lacrymal duct; palate long, narrow, incisive foramen elongated, bounded by bony ridges continuing posteriorly to upper P4; posterior palatine foramen small; palatine margin of internal nares between upper M3 smooth, ovoid; basicarnial axis elongate, narrow; interorbital region open as orbital fissure; auditory bullae moderately enlarged, elongate anteroposteriorly; external auditory meatus rounded with circular opening ventral to tubular part; stylomastoid foramen posterior and between double opening; foramen magnum wide, low; incisors somewhat flattened, enamel extending halfway onto lateral face; cheek teeth semi-rooted, with three weak inflections on labial side, one deep inflection on lingual side; tooth rows somewhat converging anteriorly; mandible heavy; posterior end of incisors extending into ascending ramus; diastema short; coronoid process low, disorted outward, masseteric fossa shallow, masseteric crest small; angular process slightly inflected.
