Taxonomy
Aparimarhynchia takitimuensis was named by MacFarlan (1992). Its type specimen is OU 15537, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is CTH 51, Aparima River (D44/f9894), which is in an Anisian marine horizon in New Zealand.
