Maorirhynchia nelsonensis

Taxonomy
Maorirhynchia nelsonensis was named by MacFarlan (1992). Its type specimen is OU 16078, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is ERF N8b, Pig Valley (N28/f7743), which is in an Anisian marine horizon in New Zealand.
