Tainuirhynchia waingaroensis
Taxonomy
Tainuirhynchia waingaroensis was named by MacFarlan (1992). Its type specimen is NZGS BR 2290, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is GS 9241, Waingaro Valley (R14/f6676), which is in a Toarcian/Bathonian marine horizon in the Ohautira Conglomerate Formation of New Zealand.
