Charixa is a genus. It is not extant. Its type is Charixa vennensis.

It was synonymized subjectively with Pyripora by Bassler (1953).

It was assigned to Cyclostomata by Sepkoski (2002); and to Electridae by Taylor (1986), Taylor (2010) and Dick et al. (2014).
