Taxonomy
Haydenella tersa was named by Li (1986). Its type specimen is Yichang IGMR 562159 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is GP53, Bunuo section, Changme district, Longlin county, which is in a Kungurian marine horizon in the Liangshan Formation of China.
