Prisculatrites lobatus was named by Al-Tamimi and Saqqa (2008). It is not extant. It is considered to be a form taxon. Its type specimen is Holotype 1/XVI, paratypes 2- 5/XVI, Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences, Yarmouk University, Irbid, Jordan.
