Taxonomy
Ptilorhynchia anadyrensis was named by Dagys (1968). Its type specimen is IGiG 200/78 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Mayn River, Anadyr River basin, which is in a Bathonian/Callovian marine siliciclastic in the Russian Federation.
