Taxonomy
Rugithyris anabarensis was named by Dagys (1968). Its type specimen is IGiG 131/78 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Cape Khorgo, Anabar Gulf, which is in a Bajocian marine siliciclastic in the Russian Federation.
