Terebratula suttonensis

Taxonomy
Terebratula suttonensis was named by Clapp and Shimer (1911). Its type specimen is GSC 7810, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is GSC 13703, Cowichan Lake, Vancouver Island, which is in a Rhaetian reef, buildup or bioherm limestone in the Sutton Formation of Canada.

It was recombined as Dielasma suttonense by Smith (1927).
