Massyla lopezana

Taxonomy
Cancellaria (Massyla) lopezana was named by Jung and Petit (1990). Its type specimen is NMB H 17323, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is NMB Loc. 17288 - Río Yaque del Norte [Baitoa Fm], which is in a Langhian marine siltstone in the Baitoa Formation of the Dominican Republic.

It was recombined as Massyla lopezana by Landau et al. (2012) and Landau et al. (2012).
