Taxonomy
Misolia lenticulata was named by Jefferies (1961). Its type specimen is BMNH BB20243 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Wadi Milaha, Jebel Hagab (Misolia Bed), which is in a Norian carbonate limestone in the Asfal Formation of the United Arab Emirates.
