Palaeocardita trapezoidalis
Taxonomy
Cardita trapezoidalis was named by Krumbeck (1913). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Jillu II, south of Misool, which is in an Alaunian/Sevatian carbonate limestone in Indonesia.
It was recombined as Palaeocardita trapezoidalis by Hudson and Jefferies (1961) and Yin and McRoberts (2006).
