Aphera aphrodite
Taxonomy
Aphera aphrodite was named by Landau et al. (2012). Its type specimen is NHMW 2011/0177/0030, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is TU 961 - Cativa [lower Gatun Fm], which is in a Tortonian coastal siltstone in the Gatun Formation of Panama.
