Axelella panamica
Taxonomy
Olssonella panamica was named by Petit (1976). Its type specimen is USNM 220090, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is TU 757 - Cativa [lower Gatun Fm], which is in a Tortonian coastal siltstone in the Gatun Formation of Panama.
It was recombined as Axelella panamica by Landau et al. (2012).
