Macroacaena alseanus

Taxonomy
Lyreidus alseanus was named by Rathbun (1932). It is not extant. Its type locality is S. Side of Asea Bay, Lincoln Co., which is in an Oligocene marine sandstone in Oregon.

It was recombined as Lyreidus (Lysirude) alseanus by Feldmann (1992); it was recombined as Macroacaena alseanus by Schweitzer et al. (2000).
