Corixalia gutta

Taxonomy
Corixalia gutta was named by Popov (1986). Its type specimen is PIN 3560/34, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Boro-Nuruu (Outcrop 239/3), which is in an Aptian lacustrine - large shale/sandstone in the Gurvan-Eren Formation of Mongolia. It is the type species of Corixalia.
