Carabites nigriventris
Taxonomy
Carabites nigriventris was named by Ponomarenko (1986). Its type specimen is PIN 3058/7, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Huh-Mort outrcop (254/7), which is in an Aptian lacustrine mudstone in the Gurvan-Eren Formation of Mongolia.
