Taxonomy
Groenlandites canadensis was named by Tozer (1994). Its type specimen is GSC 28457 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is GSC 74732, Chischa River, which is in an Aegean marine siliciclastic in the Toad Formation of Canada.
