Chresmoda mongolica
Taxonomy
Saurophthiroides mongolicus was named by Ponomarenko (1986). Its type specimen is PIN 3149/1711, an exoskeleton (body), and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Gurvan-Ereny-Nuruu (Outcrop 234/20), which is in an Aptian lacustrine - large shale/sandstone in the Gurvan-Eren Formation of Mongolia.
It was recombined as Chresmoda mongolica by Delclòs et al. (2008).
