Bukkanodus jesseni
Taxonomy
Bukkanodus jesseni was named by Johanson et al. (2007). Its type specimen is NMV P.218308, a partial skull (right pre maxilla), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Bukkanodus jesseni type locality, which is in a Devonian lacustrine sandstone/siltstone in the Fairy Formation of Australia. It is the type species of Bukkanodus.
