Psilatricolpites minutus was named by González-Guzmán (1967). It is considered to be a form taxon. Its type specimen is Slide F-III-57-598 (Catatumbo). Loc: 40.6X112.8 (micr. P0-58), a seed repro (Pollen grain), and it is a 3D fossil preserving soft parts.

A. E. González-Guzmán 1967Pollen grain tricolpate, prolate, furrow C α 3 d-e, C β 2, C γ I, sculpture type psilate, thickness of exine ± 1 μ. Polar area rather small. Grain probably tektite. Furrows with equatorial constriction and therefore grain sometimes seemingly tricolporate.
