Senekichthys hirundo

Taxonomy
Senekichthys hirundo was named by Prokofiev (2004). Its type specimen is PIN, nr. 4890-3, a skeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Senek Creek Ravine, which is in a Tournaisian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal lime mudstone/sandstone in the Herbesskaya Formation of the Russian Federation. It is the type species of Senekichthys.
