A. E. González-Guzmán 1967Pollen grain tricolpate to tricolporate semi-angular; furrow C α 2, C β 1, C γ 1; sculpture type reticulate (maximum diameter of lumina 1 μ). Reticulum finer toward the poles. Muri simplibaculate. Thickness of exine about 1 μ; wall semitectate. Grains with transversal furrows and sometimes with costar colpi. Polar area very large. Identical grains were recorded from the Eocene of Nigeria by Van Hoeken-Klinkenberg, 1966.
