Gurvanopteryx impleta

Taxonomy
Gurvanopteryx impleta was named by Sinitshenkova (1986). Its type specimen is PIN 3149/506, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Gurvan-Ereny-Nuruu (Outcrop 236/29), which is in an Aptian lacustrine - large shale/sandstone in the Gurvan-Eren Formation of Mongolia.
