Psilatricolporites operculatus minutus was named by González-Guzmán (1967). It is considered to be a form taxon. Its type specimen is Slide F-III-40-485 (Catatumbo). Loc: 40.8X112.7 (micr. P0-58), a plant debris (Pollen grain), and it is a 3D fossil preserving soft parts.

A. E. González-Guzmán 1967Pollen grain tricolpate, spheroidal; C α 2, C β 1, C γ 2, pore P α b, P β 1, P γ 2; sculpture type psilate with granules at both sides of the furrows. Thickness of exine 1.2 μ; endexine hardly thicker than ectexine. Grain tektite: in some grains costae colpi visible. Polar area rather large. Furrows with operculum.
