Foveotricolporites marginatus

Foveotricolporites marginatus was named by González-Guzmán (1967). It is considered to be a form taxon. Its type specimen is Slide F-III-57-598 (Catatumbo) Loc: 118.5X34.4 (micr. P0-58), a seed repro (Pollen grain), and it is a 3D fossil preserving soft parts.

Thickness of exine 1.5 μ, with ectexine about as thick as endexine. Wall presumably tektite. Colpi mostly with distinct margo. Polar area 5 μ. Pores not sharply outlined in some specimens.
