Striatricolporites agustinus was named by González-Guzmán (1967). It is considered to be a form taxon. Its type specimen is Slide F-III-57-598 (Catatumbo). Loc: 41.3X124 (micr. P0-58), a seed repro (Pollen grain), and it is a 3D fossil preserving soft parts.
