Marmosopsis juradoi

Taxonomy
Marmosopsis juradoi was named by Paula Couto (1962). Its type specimen is MNRJ 2343-V, a mandible (Left mandibular ramus, without symphiseal portion.), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is São José de Itaborai, which is in an Eocene fissure fill marl in the Itaboraí Formation of Brazil. It is the type species of Marmosopsis.
