Taxonomy
Schizophoria parenteletiformis was named by Huang (1933). Its type specimen is NIGP 4666 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Ts'ingyen, Locality T306, Wanch'ang, Kueiyang-hsien, which is in a Wuchiapingian marine horizon in China.
