If no rank is listed, the taxon is considered an unranked clade in modern classifications. Ranks may be repeated or presented in the wrong order because authors working on different parts of the classification may disagree about how to rank taxa.

A. E. González-Guzmán 1967Pollen grain apparently stephanocolpate, equatorial limb spheroidal hexagonal; furrow C α 1, C β 1b, C γ 1; 'pseudocolpi' C α 2, C β 1a, C γ 2; sculpture type difficult to define, possibly reticulate-foveolate-baculate. Between polar area and equator the endexine is lacking and there grain showing polar areas; between these thickenings the 'pseudocolpi' are situated. Thickness of exine about 5 μ.
