Pseudostephanocolpites perfectus
Taxonomy
Pseudostephanocolpites perfectus was named by González-Guzmán (1967). It is considered to be a form taxon. Its type specimen is Slide F-III-55-596 (Catatumbo) Loc: 122.2X45.6 (micr. P0-58), a seed repro (Pollen grain), and it is a 3D fossil preserving soft parts. It is the type species of Pseudostephanocolpites.

Between polar area and equator the endexine is lacking and there grain showing polar areas; between these thickenings the 'pseudocolpi' are situated. Thickness of exine about 5 μ. |
