It was recombined as Cassis (Semicassis) centiquadrata by Keen (1958); it was recombined as Semicassis (Semicassis) granulata centiquadrata by Kreipl (1997); it was recombined as Semicassis centiquadrata by Pilsbry and Olsson (1941) and Beu (2010).
