Taxonomy
Nicomedites arthaberi was named by Tozer (1994). Its type specimen is GSC 28310 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is GSC 68295, Milepost 375, Alaska Highway, which is in a Pelsonian marine siliciclastic in the Toad Formation of Canada.
