Eogymnotoceras deleeni
Taxonomy
Beyrichites deleeni was named by McLearn (1946). Its type specimen is GSC 6479 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is GSC 10694, Alaska Highway, which is in an Illyrian marine siliciclastic in the Toad Formation of Canada.
It was recombined as Gymnotoceras deleeni by McLearn (1969) and Konstantinov (1991); it was recombined as Eogymnotoceras deleeni by Tozer (1994).
