Taxonomy
Pamphagosirenites pacificus was named by Tozer (1994). Its type specimen is GSC 28731 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is GSC 82936, Klaskino Inlet, which is in a Tuvalian marine limestone in the Quatsino Formation of Canada.
