It was recombined as Cymatium lineatum by Hertlein and Strong (1955); it was recombined as Cymatium (Septa) lineatum by Keen (1971); it was recombined as Cymatium (Reticutriton) lineatum by Beu (1985); it was recombined as Reticutriton lineatus by Beu (2010).
