It was recombined as Triton (Lampusia) rubecula by Mörch (1877); it was recombined as Triton rubeculum by Tryon (1880); it was recombined as Cymatium (Septa) rubeculum by Clench and Turner (1957); it was recombined as Cymatium rubeculum by Nowell-Usticke (1959); it was recombined as Septa rubecula by Beu (2010).
