Acerastea wadeae

Taxonomy
Acerastea wadeae was named by Warren and Hutchinson (1987). Its type specimen is QM F12277, a partial skeleton, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is QMF L78 (Rewan Formation), which is in an Induan fluvial mudstone/ironstone in the Arcadia Formation of Australia. It is the type species of Acerastea.
