Ptiolinites cretaceus
Taxonomy
Ptiolinites cretaceus was named by Kovalev (1986). Its type specimen is PIN 3152/4265, an exoskeleton, and it is an impression. Its type locality is Myangad locality, Section 221/17, which is in an Aptian lacustrine mudstone in the Gurvan-Eren Formation of Mongolia. It is the type species of Ptiolinites.
