Neosconsia ecuadoriana

Taxonomy
Neosconsia ecuadoriana was named by Olsson (1964). Its type specimen is USNM 644216, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Quebrada Camarones [Esmeraldas Fm], which is in a Pliocene marine sandstone/sandstone in the Esmeraldas Formation of Ecuador. It is the type species of Neosconsia.
