Gemmastephanoporites breviculus

Gemmastephanoporites breviculus was named by González-Guzmán (1967). It is considered to be a form taxon. Its type specimen is Slide F-III-43-492 (Catatumbo). Loc: 36.9X126.5 (micr. P0-58), a seed repro (Pollen grain), and it is a 3D fossil preserving soft parts. It is the type species of Gemmastephanoporites.

Columellae arranged in a distinct reticulum-like pattern. Pores with distinct costae pori and probably also with vestibulum. Thickness of exine about 1.5 μ; ectexine thicker than endexine. Grain semitectate.
