Retipollenites confusus
Taxonomy
Retipollenites confusus was named by González-Guzmán (1967). It is considered to be a form taxon. Its type specimen is Slide F-III-73-574 (Catatumbo). Loc: 37.8X126.5 (micr. P0-58), a seed repro (Pollen grain), and it is a 3D fossil preserving soft parts. It is the type species of Retipollenites.
