Exina reticulada, retículo con mallas mayores en los mesolcopios, disminuyendo en diámetro hacia los apocolpios y polos; muros de 0.3-0.4 µm y aréolas de 0.8-1.2 µm; aréolas menores de ca. 0.2 µm. Exina de 1-1.2 µm de espesor, compuesta por dos capas, la externa más gruesa que la interna.
