Taxonomy
Pecten soror urumaconis was named by Hodson et al. (1927). It is a 3D body fossil.

It was recombined as Pecten (Oppenheimopecten) urumaconis by Woodring (1982); it was recombined as Euvola urumaconis by Waller (2011).
