Panchetocynodon damodarensis
Taxonomy
Panchetocynodon damodarensis was named by Das and Gupta (2012). Its type specimen is GSI Type No. Pal/CHQ/25, a mandible (Partial left lower jaw with five postcanines), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Dumdumi village, right bank Damodar river, which is in an Induan/Smithian terrestrial sandstone in the Panchet Formation of India.
