It was recombined as Bursa marginata by Nicklés (1950); it was recombined as Bursa marginatum by Davies (1973); it was recombined as Gyrineum (Aspa) marginata by Malatesta (1974); it was recombined as Bufonaria (Aspa) marginata by Beu (1985); it was recombined as Bufonaria marginata by Warén and Bouchet (1990); it was recombined as Aspa marginata by Beu (2010).
