Neocampylites was named by Callomon (1973). It is not extant.

It was assigned to Glochiceratinae by Parent (2006).

Synonyms

Campylites was named by Rollier (1922) [Sepkoski's age data: J Oxfo-l J Oxfo-u]. It is not extant.

It was replaced with Neocampylites by Callomon (1973) and Parent (2006).

It was assigned to Ochetoceratinae by Arkell et al. (1957) and Schlegelmilch (1994); and to Ammonoidea by Sepkoski (2002).
