Palaeobatrachus robustus

Taxonomy
Palaeobatrachus robustus was named by Hossini and Rage (2000). Its type specimen is MNHN LAU 7, a partial skull (a single frontoparietal which lacks its anterior portion), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Laugnac, which is in a MN 2 lacustrine marl/limestone in the Agenais Limestone Formation of France.
