Taxonomy
Rhynchonella subangulata was named by Davidson (1877). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Bradford Abbas Lower Inferior Oolite, which is in an Aalenian carbonate limestone in the United Kingdom.
It was recombined as Rhynchonelloidea subangulata by Alméras and Peybernès (1979), Alméras (1979) and Shi and Grant (1993).
